Lighting & Sound Technician
Salary : £20,000 to £23,000 depending on experience
The Tron Theatre, Glasgow is one of Scotland’s leading producing and receiving theatres.
We are seeking a Lighting & Sound Technician to join our production team. The Lighting & Sound Technician will work alongside the Head of Production, Stage Manager, Technical Stage Manager and two Senior Technicians.
The post holder will provide lighting and sound services for a range of Tron Theatre Company productions, visiting productions and events, providing a safe, tidy and welcoming working environment.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience working in professional theatre, a good level of technical skills in lighting and sound for theatre alongside excellent interpersonal skills, team working skills and a flexible and proactive approach.

Work Experience Placements
We receive lots of emails throughout the course of a year from students asking to come and do work experience with us but due to the nature of our programme we cannot accommodate everyone. However we feel by formalising our approach to work experience we will have a clear guideline for those wishing to gain a placement at the Tron Theatre.
