At the Tron we're committed to nurturing creative talent in Glasgow, Scotland and further afield.
We're doing this by offering a host of opportunities for creative and educational professionals at all stages of their careers-- from CPD courses for teachers, to hosting scratch nights for developing playwrights, to our fantastic Tron 100 artistic membership
Tron's creative writing course offers fresh insight, new strategies and the tools, motivation and inspiration to support writers of all levels to get the best out of their creative process.
Tron 100 is our year-long artistic membership initiative offering selected creatives the chance to engage in a programme of workshops, panels and masterclasses with some of the biggest names in the UK arts industry.
If you have a performance in your head that needs working out in front of an audience, then Outside Eyes is the place for you.
Labweek is a residency in the Changing House offered to one artist each Tron Theatre season. The one-week residency comes with a £3000 budget to support the artist resourcing their time at the Tron.
In celebration of Scotland's 'Year of Young People 2018' Tron Theatre is launching the Mayfesto Award. One writer will be awarded a £2000 cash prize and a package including script development sessions and a run of public rehearsed readings at Mayfesto 2018.
